What is the price of chair rental and what does it include?

Additionally, you can arrange a tour to inquire about any aspects of our salon. For 2024, our rental rate stands at $300 per week, inclusive of an array of fantastic amenities. How do I know if I can afford to work at the Cosmo Collective?
A general guideline to keep in mind is that your rent should ideally constitute 15% or less of your total expenses. However, given the extensive range of amenities provided by the Cosmo Collective, a slightly higher percentage can be acceptable. Our offerings include marketing support, backbar supplies, internet access, guest care services, and more, all of which you won't have to bear the cost of while working at the Cosmo Collective.
To put it into perspective, if your weekly rent amounts to $275.00, it equals 15% of a $1800.00 total expense estimate. If you're generating approximately $1800.00 per week in service revenue, you're right on target. Keep in mind that these numbers are based on a full time chair rental, we offer part time chair rental as well.
Do I have to sign a lease?
If we mutually agree that it's a suitable match, you'll be required to review and sign our culture agreement along with a 6 month lease. We are committed to not imposing lengthy lease commitments on our stylists, as we hold our culture and atmosphere in the highest regard.
Our primary focus is to furnish a secure, welcoming, and toxin-free work environment, prioritizing the well-being of our stylists above simply filling our chairs. We have a responsibility to maintain the integrity of our culture, ensuring that our salon is occupied by professionals who are not only talented but also kind and respectful individuals.
We firmly believe in fostering an environment of flexibility, where individuals choose to work with us because they genuinely want to be here. Hence, we see no necessity in binding stylists to long-term obligations.
